ART OF PLAYING THE PIANO

The Art of Playing the Piano Method stems from my immersion in 19th century practices, including those of Franz Liszt and Frédéric Chopin. My own teacher, Spanish Master Eduardo del Pueyo , studied with a student of Marie Jaëll and passed-on many facets of her teaching  and research — based on years of direct work with Franz Liszt. The “Method,” as I like to call it, is also the direct product of my performing career, a life-long relationship with Chopin’s approach to the piano in his Etudes, and working with, teaching and guiding hundreds of pianists over the past 30 years.
